A multisite organization that builds tempory of semi-permanent units.
The organization wants to close one of its plants/locations and integrate it with any of the other locations. Parallel with this project it aims to optimize the production process in accordance with the principle of Lean Production.
Before the start of the project they drafted a project plan with a network planning which made the critical path visible. Then there where presentations, meetings serves to directly involved. Running parallel to the move, workshops are carried out to identify structural modifications to machinery and cranes. In different phases the principles of lean management are implemented by VOAA, de project members involved and the US consulting company.
Phased introduction of Lean with the guarantee of the procedures has led to a shorter time compared to the existing method. In addition, the processing times of the activity decreased by adjusting work methods and supply with an average of 15%.
